		<description><![CDATA[Proučavajući kretanje jata galaksija na Kalifornijskom institutu za tehnologije 1934. godine, švajcarski astrofizičar Fric Zvicki je primetio  da je njihova masa,  prema njegovim posmatranjima, oko 400 puta manja od mase potrebne da bi se galaksije kretale izmerenim brzinama.
